“ We ordered 3 Medaillons, 1 Kalbsbäckchen and 1 Rinderhüftsteak. The Medaillons were pretty good, but the salad go with didn't fit my taste. My kid had Rinderhüftsteak, he wanted Medium Rare. Inside of the steak was perfect, but outside was a little too burned.. it was hard to chew and tasted dry. But the Knödel were his favourite. Kalbsbäckchen tasted wonderful and it melted in your mouth. 5 Persons : ~ 125€ , with drinks ~ 30€ ”
“ We enjoyed dinner at GROTES because of the friendly service staff and the amazing food. We were seated quickly even though we did not make a reservation. The staff kindly provided us with an English menu when he rightly guessed our German wasn't good. He also tried his best to describe/recommend food in English, which we truly appreciate. The food was and i'd highly recommend this restaurant! We loved the Chestnut Bread-Crostini, which had well-seasoned mushrooms on cripsy bread and a salad side - a good savoury mix! The pumpkin salad as well as rump steak was good too! Overall, a very nice and cosy atmosphere in the restaurant on a Sunday evening. ”
